The goal for our weekends is to provide maximum book time in a luxurious environment – whether you are planning to finish a series or reintroduce yourself to the joy of books - all our activities are optional and everything is designed to be enjoyed in moderation.
Rhinefield House Hotel
Known locally as the Jewel of the Forest, Rhinefield House is hidden deep within the national park and has 40 acres of woodlands surrounding the neo-gothic building. Our event will take us throughout the splendour and craftmanship of the whole hotel.
We'll also explore Burley and its witching connections, hear local ghost stories, energise with crystals, sample apothecary-inspired drinks and try some relaxed tarot. Whether you're intrigued by the mystical or simply love a good spooky story, there'll be plenty to enjoy.
Our book events will bring together witches from fantasy and historical fiction, with plenty to discuss about their stories, power and place in our imaginations.
