The goal for our weekends is to provide maximum book time in a luxurious environment – whether you are planning to finish a series or reintroduce yourself to the joy of books - all our activities are optional and everything is designed to be enjoyed in moderation.

The Talbot Country House
A 17th century coaching inn, sitting in the middle of the town of Malton, with bold colours and inviting spaces for the traveller looking to escape but still wanting a bit of connection and fine dining.
The hotel is near the North York Moors and has ample gardens, terraces but also a warm lounge with 2 fires to snuggle into with our retreat books
Be prepared to be pampered in style, ramble in nature and enjoy the foodie paradise in the hotel’s own food court which hosts all locally made products.
