Cap of your summer time with a weekend treat at a former writer’s childhood home in Berkshire. This highly reviewed, 18th-century house regularly ranks as a top small hotel in the UK and comes with indoor and outdoor pools, views of the North Wessex Downs and 5 star food.

Enjoy croquet on the lawn in between chapters and Aperol spritz before author events.
