March Author Events
We have an excellent mix of books for our New Forest Weekend running, 6-8 March 2026 at Burley Manor.
Opening the weekend for us, we will be hosting Karen Swan and her latest historical fiction novel, Three Summers. Guests will be sipping on prosecco and Italian wine whilst we transport ourselves to Puglia to discuss this beautiful novel that explores friendships, young love, societal expectation and class. The perfect page turner to take on holiday and you wonāt be disappointed by the last 50 pages.
Karen Swan and her 31st Novel, Three Summers - out 26 Feb 2026
On Saturday afternoon we will meet with debut novelist, Charlotte B. Plumb to discuss her book Reap & Sow, which is a gothic Romantasy with twists, romance and a very cheeky demon. Charlotteās release is one of the most anticipated gothic stories of the year and our guests had very early access to the stunning ARCS. Guests will enjoy canapĆ©s, dark & stormy cocktails whilst we get our books signed and we will finish up with a 3-course, candlelight dinner in the conservatory!
Charlotte B. Plumb her novel, Reap & Sow - released 6 October 2026
Our final author of the weekend will be Cecile Pin, who is joining us Sunday mid-morning to discuss her second book Celestial Lights. Cecileās story is perfect for fans of the movie - Interstellar - it looks at the pull of space and the ambition of humanity to explore and leave our legacy. Her book was easy to read over a weekend, but left me thinking about the wider themes of family, success and happiness weeks later.
Cecile Pin 2nd book, Celestial Lights - out 26 March 2026
